Can a pastor assist his child to become a business man and run his own business?

I know what you are thinking of. In-between the busy schedule of a minister, how would he have the time to do that? Time management is a skill every minister learns in the first few years of service, hence I believe a minister can raise a business man/woman. 

Proof of this, Papa back in the days was a famous stubborn troublemaker, a bully whom father ensured was taken to the shop after school to be taught stock taking, costing, etc.

Today, Papa is a leader, business man, quiet, calm and collected without getting an ass whooping from his parents. What makes it more interesting is that these changes occurred overtime and were more evident when he was miles away from his parents and could only communicate with them over the phone. How was his dad able to have helped him even after he moved?

Let me give you a hint; 

Phone Calls, yes my dears, over the phone! With every call made, approval was given to run for any leadership position and also a task was given; incomplete financial report sent to be completed. Growth was in the mistakes he made, corrections given and decision he took to hit his target.

Creating time in your busy schedule for your children can't be overemphasize. Sharpshooters aren't created over night. You need to clear up your  schedule dear parents, if you plan on raising kids that will make you proud in the future.

Sharp Shooters

 One of the many success stories that intrigue me is that of Dr. Ben Carson. I have read a few of his books and he never fails to tell the story over and over again.

As the story goes, he was an inner-city kid who struggled through school for a period of time and was termed 'Dummy'. He settled for whatever came his way and believed that was how it was meant to be until his mum decided to take the bull by its horn. He was  required to read 2 books every week and submit a book report at the end of the week to his mum. Over time, he went from being at the bottom of the class to being at the top of the class. He went from being just an inner-city kid who lived in Detroit to an international icon who became a symbol of hope to many young people. 

One of the major player in Dr. Ben Carson's success story was his mum. Just like any parent, she wanted the best for her boys and she mastered the art of hitting the target, she understood what it took to have a better life and future and taught it to her boys who later became great men.

Just like Sonya Carson, you can master the art of hitting the target and guide your kids to do the same.

Sharp Shooter

 It was quite inspiring listening to Christie narrate a story of a young girl named Maria who set a goal to improve her grades in school. Maria struggled with certain subjects, particularly math, and felt discouraged by her grades. With the support and encouragement of her parents, Maria set a clear goal to raise outshine her peers by the end of the school year.

Maria and her parents worked together to break down this goal into smaller steps. They created a study schedule, set specific targets for each subject, and sought out additional resources such as tutoring and educational apps to help Mariaa improve her understanding of math concepts.

As Maria progressed through the school year, she diligently followed her study schedule and consistently worked on improving her grades. Her parents provided ongoing support, checking in on her progress, offering guidance, and celebrating her achievements along the way. Maria's hard work and determination paid off, and by the end of the school year, she had not only improved her grades in math but also raised her overall position, achieving her target.

To celebrate Maria's achievement, her parents organized a small family gathering to recognize her hard work and dedication. Maria was proud of herself and felt motivated to continue setting and achieving goals in the future. 

To our parents/guardians, this story never talked about comparing your kids with others but rather demonstrates the power of setting clear goals, breaking them down into manageable steps, and providing support and encouragement to achieve success and make them hit their target.

SHARP SHOOTERS

Being a Sharp shooters as I have learnt today isn't just about being dedicated or consistent, it's about having love and passion for what you do as well. Today I want to take you on a journey into the programming world.

A programmer is someone who writes/creates computer software or applications generally by providing instructions (commonly through the use of a specific programming language) to the computer or by configuring already existing code (such as a framework or existing code base).

In our world today, we have a lot of amazing programmers whose work speaks for them. We can call the likes of Alan Turing, Ada Lovelace, Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, Linus Torvalds, Mark Zuckerberg, etc. who are  sharp shooters in their industry because they're always hitting their mark; the evidence of what I am talking about are Facebook and Microsoft - brain babies of 2 amazing programmers being used by 3.03 billion and 1.4 billion people respectively.

As parents, the schools we enroll our children matters a lot as it'd contribute majorly in their lives. I have an amazing friend called Ebuka, who is on his way to becoming a well known programmer, he had first heard about programming in school at age 16, and started programming at age 19. With the help of YouTube, his senior colleague and his passion for programming he was able to face all the obstacles that came his way, which helped him  become consistent, and now he hits the targets he sets for himself.

Sharp shooters are a unique breed of individuals who possess exceptional marksmanship skills and precision in shooting. Whether in the military, law enforcement, or competitive sports, sharp shooters play a crucial role in ensuring accuracy and efficiency in various shooting scenarios. Their expertise and proficiency with firearms make them an invaluable asset in situations that require pinpoint accuracy and quick reflexes.

One of the most prominent areas where sharp shooters excel is in the military. In combat situations, the ability to eliminate threats with precision and accuracy is paramount.
